    Terrain

Saturday, I picked up a tub of Elmer's Wood Filler to cover the top and the steps on the hill. It was a lot of fun, but it was messy. Got my hands good and dirty. While it was drying, I tried to give it a little texture to look more like stone since it's not going to receive much flock, if at all, on the top. Unfortunately, I left my camera at home that day.

Yesterday, I took the poor thing out back with a can of grey spray paint. I painted over the rock portions of it, but avoided the parts that weren't. Then I ran out of paint before I could cover the whole top of the piece. I'd never used spray paint on foam before, but it came out great. I hadn't pitted the "rocks" at all since I was told the paint would do it for me. I'm pretty happy with the result.

I've also gotten the grassy sections base coated with brown. Well, I started it and Rachel finished it up for me while I went to go play a game of Warmachine. (I hate Cygnar, by the way.) Now I just need to remember to dig out some of my acrylics that I'm not using for the rest of it. I don't want to use the expensive model paints on it, except maybe for some small details.
