I made some more progress in cleaning last night. I've got all the broken parts removed and the glue cleaned off. My bonejacks are all done, except for a little paint that was hiding under a broken leg. The new pieces for them should be in today. I even got a pin made and drilled for one of the Deathrippers, although I may need to work on filing down his foot a little more so he sits on the base better.
But Deneghra is another story entirely. I removed her broken witch barbs and cleaned out the glue and paint underneath them. Then I spent about an hour cleaning paint out of her nooks and crannies. It's probably workable now, but I would prefer to get her completely clean before priming again. I've gotten some suggestions on how to remove the rest of the paint from the spots I can't reach, but I'm not sure if it'll help or not since they all say "and then grab a toothbrush." We'll see how this turns out later.
On a different note, I thought it was interesting how much detail I missed when I was doing painting Denny the first time. At the time, I was wearing a pair of old contacts that were fuzzy. Lately, I've been wearing my glasses (because I have no contacts). It really makes me want to go back and do paint the other Denny again. Maybe later.
